Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. She was widely credited with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive, she has received numerous grants and is the recipient of many awards at international and national levels. She has advised numerous authorities and government agencies around all over the world on policy as well as research related to the treatment of children victims by the legal system. She currently acts as a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She's a member of numerous professional associations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
